Obituary of Eugenia M. Wojnar

Eugenia M. (Smith) Wojnar, age 97 passed away at her home on May 8, 2018. Born in Newark, she had resided in Irvington before moving to the Liberty Corner section of Basking Ridge in 1957. Eugenia was a true homemaker who took pride in caring for her home and family. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Eugenia liked watching NASCAR and taking Cruises. She was a member of Our Lady of the Mount Church in Warren. Predeceased by her husband John J. Wojnar. Surviving are her sons John R. Wojnar and his wife Theresa and Ken Wojnar and his wife Danielle; her niece Jean Milto who she loved like a daughter; grandchildren Jacob, Rachel, Shelby, Cassandra and Erica. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 10, 2018 from 4-8 p.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung, NJ. A gathering will take place on Friday, May 11, 2018 at 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home followed by a 10:30 a.m. Funeral Mass at Our Lady of the Mount Chapel, Warren. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Basking Ridge.
