Obituary of Nancy Dove

Our beloved mother, Nancy Lorraine Dove (Arehart), died peacefully at the home of her daughter in New Jersey on May 10, 2018 at the age of 79. She was the daughter of the late Katie Marie Spitzer and Walter Henry Arehart, born and raised in Timberville, Va. After many years as a homemaker in New Jersey, she went back to school to become a LPN, graduating top of her class. After moving back to her hometown of Timberville in 1978, she changed careers and worked for High's Dairy Store/Southland Corporation as a Manager, District Manager and Trainer until she retired. Nancy enjoyed gardening, entertaining, playing in the snow and travelling by car, plane or camper. She and her greatest love, Robert Dove, went all over the world but loved most being with their family. She leaves behind to celebrate her life her children Michael Fusco (Sandy), Michele Sartori (Tom), Dawn Pratt (David), Toni Fusco, stepchildren Tony Dove, Tina Breen (Chip) and Sandy Balas. Her greatest treasures, her grandchildren Daniel, William, Christina, Nicole, Nicolas, Katie, Christopher, Scott and Sarah and great grandchildren Jesse and Elaina. Her beloved sisters and brothers, Evelyn Sampson, Edward Arehart, Margaret Dillon, Beverly Arehart, Linda Arehart, Peggy Sellers and Deborah Wolverton. She is predeceased in death by her husband Robert Dove, step daughter Karla Dove, sisters Catherine Keister, Anna Tribby, Betty Biller and brothers Walter Arehart, Frank Arehart and Tom Arehart. Her family wishes to thank all of the family and friends who reached out to their mom with visits, phone calls, letters and cards during her illness. You will be remembered always for your kind words during a very difficult time. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Timberville, Virginia.
