Dear Lisa ... I knew your parents from high school and I remember the first apartment they had on Front Street in Plainfield. Shortly after you were born your mother came to visit me to show you off. She was beaming. We connected again when she was pregnant with your bother. They were in a much nicer place in North Plainfield. I recall how much she wanted to get an education and was thinking of being a social worker. I was so happy to learn that she did get the schooling she desired. Nursing I think was a wise field for her to enter.
That was a lovely piece you wrote about her. She would be very proud of you. The picture you selected of her was a nice choice.
Michael I am sorry Patti passed without ever apologizing to you for not being the Mom she should’ve been and abandoning you. The women never even meet your children. We shall pray for her soul and your sisters too.
