Dear Veronika,
I am very sad about Al's passing. I know that the death of His Saints is very precious to Him and He does not lightly let them die. It is said that Jesus and His angels cry when someone like your husband dies, even before we do. I imagine that they cry for those of us who are left behind.
Your husband was a fine model of a gentleman. Although he was quite brilliant, he was unassuming and modest in his demeanor. I always enjoyed playing bridge at his table, as he knew what he was doing, but he remained cool and courteous.
Most of all I will remember the story of your meeting and your courtship. He was very much in love with you.
That love can never be stilled, and you will continue to carry that assurance in your heart.
My prayers are for your healing and for your peace. Rest in the knowledge that you were his perfect wife.
