Obituary of Robert Del Duca
Robert Del Duca, age 74, passed away on Sunday, July 22, 2018, surrounded by his family at his home in Berkeley Heights. Born in Summit, he was a lifelong resident of Berkeley Heights.
Robert was the owner operator of R. Del Duca Excavating in Berkeley Heights for many years.
Robert was an active member of the Berkeley Heights Volunteer Fire Department. In his spare time, he enjoyed tinkering and taking care of his cars, trucks and equipment. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Predeceased by his son Robert Charles Del Duca.
Survived by his loving wife of 53 years Patricia (Clark) Del Duca; children Deborah, Doreen and Robyn Del Duca; grandchildren Amanda, David, Jessica, Michael, Marissa and Samantha; brother Joseph Del Duca. He is also survived by a sister-in-law, and 2 brothers-in-law and many nephews, nieces, cousins, friends and extended family members.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 25, 2018, from 5-8 p.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung, NJ. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 26, 2018 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Stony Hill Cemetery, Watchung.
