Obituary of Matthew Bruno

Matthew Bruno, age 87, passed away on Sunday, August 12, 2018 at Somerset Valley Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Bridgewater. Born and raised in Newark, he had lived in Warren for the past 50 years. Matthew was a brick layer for Local #4-NJ, until his retirement. He enjoyed playing golf, going on cruises, traveling and loved spending time with his family; he will be missed by all. Predeceased by his wife Phyllis in 1991, and his sons Matthew and Mark. Survived by his granddaughters Elizabeth and Sarah Bruno; sister Millie Barilla; daughter-in-law Sandy Bruno. A memorial visitation will be held on Thursday, August 16, 2018 from 4-6 p.m. with a 5:30 prayer service at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung, NJ.
