Obituary of Vincent Foerst

Vincent Foerst age 80, passed away on Monday, August 20, 2018 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Somerset in Somerville. Born and raised in Bayonne, he had resided in Staten Island and Bridgewater before moving to North Plainfield 33 years ago. Prior to retiring in 2001, Vincent had worked for 38 years at Ethicon in Somerville as a Principle Engineer. He also worked part time at EP Heller in Madison as a machinist. Vincent was a member of St. Bernard & St. Stanislaus Church in Plainfield. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing and watching his grandsons playing sports. Predeceased by his son Vincent Foerst in 2009. Survived by his loving wife of 60 years Irene (Bialoglow) Foerst; his daughters Deborah and Donna Foerst; daughter-in-law Bonnie Foerst; grandchildren Zachary, Cameron and Travis Foerst; nephew Thomas Donato and sister-in-law Diane Molloy. A visitation will be held on Monday, August 27, 2018, from 3-8 p.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung, NJ. Funeral services begin on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at 9 a.m. at the funeral home followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Bernard & St. Stanislaus Church, Plainfield.
