Obituary of Max Pepin

Max Pepin, age 49, passed away on Saturday, September 8, 2018, at Morristown Memorial Hospital in Morristown, NJ. Born in Santiago, Dominican Republic, he lived in Hoboken for 29 years before moving to North Plainfield 17 years ago.

 

Max graduated from Hoboken High School and attended Hudson County Community Culinary School. He was the owner of Professional Services in North Plainfield for the last 10 years where he prepared taxes.

 

In his spare time he enjoyed cooking, baking, listening to Michael Jackson and Elvis Presley, watching Jackie Chan and Bruce Lee movies and his favorite TV Shows "The Lone Ranger" and "The A-Team". Max volunteered and donated his time to church activities.

 

Predeceased by his father Pablo Pepin in 2008.

 

Survived by his wife Cecilia (Santibanez) Pepin; his mother Altagracia (Cabrera) Pepin; children Christopher Pepin and his wife Ginny Starliper, Brandon Pepin and his wife Yashira, Stepsons Esteban Lizana and his wife Rosana and Felipe Lizana and his wife Denisse; grandchildren Samuel, Sebastian and Amiyah Pepin and Abraham, Amiel and Natasha Lizana; siblings Peter, Sandy, Carlos Pepin, Ybin Feliz and Margarita Pepin.

 

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 from 4-7 p.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung, NJ followed by a 7 p.m. funeral service. A prayer service will be held on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home followed by interment at Hillside Cemetery, Scotch Plains.
