Obituary of Donna Jean Kugelman
Long Valley: Donna Jean Kugelman, age 53, passed away on Friday September 14, 2018 at her home in Long Valley NJ surrounded by her loving family. Born in Columbus OH, Donna had resided in Pittsburgh and had grown up in Montvale NJ. Donna also lived in Califon before moving to Long Valley 15 years ago.
Donna had worked as a graphic artist for over 20 years; most recently at Dow Jones in Princeton.
She was an avid photographer and an excellent artist. Donna enjoyed exploring New York and its many museums, she also enjoyed traveling; but most of all she loved spending time with her 13 nieces and nephews.
She is survived by her loving husband Fred “Rick” Kugelman, her parents Marie and Jim Jenkinson, two sisters, Kim Nolan and her husband Michael, and Jill Benvignati; a brother, Jim Jenkinson and his wife Kathy, two sisters-in-law, Lynn Guthreau and her husband Gary and Nancy Cortese and her husband Paul; brother-in-law Jim Kugelman. She is also survived by 13 nieces and nephews Shawn, Nicole, Joe, Erin, Alyssa, Casey, Anna, Kelsey, Jeremy, Evan, Jenna, Dax and Kayla.
A memorial gathering will be held on Tuesday September 18, 2018 from 5pm to 9pm at Higgins Home for Funerals 752 Mountain Blvd. Watchung NJ. A memorial mass will be held at 10am on Wednesday September 19, 2018 at St. Mary’s Stony Hill RC Church 225 Mountain Blvd. Watchung NJ 07069. Cremation services are private. Donations in her loving memory may be made to The Steeplechase Cancer Center at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Somerset, 110 Rehill Rd. Somerville.
