Obituary of Dirk Adriaanse

Dirk Adriaanse, 90, of Warren, N.J., passed away on Thursday, October 18, 2018 at Morristown Medical Center after a brief illness. He was born in Winnipeg, Canada, raised in Mendham, and for the past 60 years lived in Warren. Mr. Adriaanse, a hard-working man, owned and operated D&M Landscaping for many years. He had a passion for all types of racing including Nascar, DIRT, and GoKart racing. He enjoyed traveling, especially taking cruises, and most of all loved spending time with family. He is survived by his four children Barbara Paolo, Dirk L. Adriaanse and his wife Kim, Michael Adriaanse and his wife Mary, Daniel Adriaanse and his wife Chris; five grandchildren Tyler and Tina Adriaanse, Joe Paolo, Trevor and Spencer Adriaanse, and two great-grandchildren. A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2018 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Higgins Home For Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung, N.J. 07069. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to a charity of your choice.
