I am writing this on behalf of my mother (Smt Indrani Ray) and my aunt (Smt Anuradha Debgupta) that it is of utmost disgust to know the news of Shri Amitava Debgupta left for heavenly abode almost a year after, in India.
I wish I could have met Mr Debgupta (my mama) in person, about whom I have heard since childhood, respected highly among my family members, and learn his generosity for which he was nick named Jahar(the jewel).
This condolence message is not to dig nor transfer the bitterness of past but to pay my homage to a man who was loved deeply by both Debgupta and Duttagupta family.
May the soul of my mama "Rest in Peace".
