Obituary of Doris O'Bryan

Doris June O’Bryan (Parker), age 95, was born in Linden, NJ on June 19, 1923 to William C. and Leona Hicks Parker. She was the oldest of six.

 Doris was valadictorian of the class of 1941 at Linden High School. She later married Henry A. O’Bryan and moved to Albany, NY.

They loved to travel and Doris continued to do so even after her husband died while vactioning in Mexico in 1985. She was a member of the Albany United Methodist Church and was Treasurer of the Greater Albany Crop Walk for several years. Doris moved back to New Jersey in 2009, residing at Sunrise of Basking Ridge.

Doris was predeceased by her husband, Henry A. O’Bryan, her brothers, Milton F. Paker, William C. Parker and Leonard A. Parker, and sister Leona I. Parker, of Linden. She is survived by her sister, Catherine A. Bebbington, of Warren and several nieces and nephews.  

A Memorial Service will be held for Doris on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity United Church, 118 King George Road, Warren, NJ. The service will slso be braodcasted on: https:www.gotomeeting/TrinityUnited.
