Obituary of Joseph Payne

Joseph Payne, age 90, died on Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at Somerset Medical Center in Somerville. He was born In Elizabeth, NJ and had lived in Green Brook for the past 57 years. Mr. Payne served in the United States Air Force during World War II. Prior to his retirement, he was a Regional Manager for the Monsanto Company in Kenilworth. He was a Communicant of Our Lady of the Mount R.C. Church in Warren. Mr. Payne is survived by his wife, Irene (Schwear) Payne; his sister-in-law Eleanor Cibulash and her husband, John; his brother-in-law, John Schwear and his wife, Catherine, his niece, nephews and extended family and friends. Visitation will be on Thursday, January 30th from 12 noon to 1:30 p.m. at Our Lady of the Mount Chapel, Mt. Bethel Road in Warren followed by a 1:30 p.m. Mass of Resurrection. Interment will be on Friday at 12 noon at Calvary Cemetery, 49 South Hunter Highway, Drums, PA.
