Obituary of Gary E. Klein

Gary E. Klein, age 67, died suddenly on December 9, 2018 at his home in Colonia. Born in Newark, he grew up in Colonia, lived in Rahway before moving back to Colonia where he lived the rest of his life.

Gary was a graduate of Colonia High School. He attended the University of Dubuque where he met his wife to be, Pat Renna. They married on January 10, 1971.

Gary worked as a foreman for Wuhl Shafman Lieberman Corp. in Newark for 50 years.

He enjoyed fishing, Bruce Springsteen Concerts and most of all loved spending time with his family - especially his granddaughters.

Survived by his loving wife of 47 years Patricia (Renna) Klein; his son Matt Klein and his wife Nicole; 2 granddaughters Dylan and Sydney; a son Chris Klein and his 2 sons; his brother Bradley Klein and his wife Donna. He is also survived by his nephews Ryan and Seth.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 11, 2018, at 1 p.m. at Temple Sholom, 1925 Lake Ave., Scotch Plains, NJ. Cremation will be held privately. To send condolences go to www.higginsfuneralhome.com
