Obituary of Richard Paul Pfingst
Richard Paul Pfingst, age 84, passed away on Thursday, December 13, 2018 at Morristown Medical Center in Morristown. He was born in Staten Island and lived there until moving to Warren 48 years ago.
Mr. Pfingst was a third-generation owner of Pfingst and Company, a jewelry and dental manufacturing company.
He enjoyed being at his lake house with his family on Lake Wallenpaupack. He also enjoyed boating, water and snow skiing, race cars and tennis.
Surviving are his wife, Caroline Nichols Pfingst; his sons Gregory Pfingst and his wife, Mary Ann and Karl Pfingst and his wife Margaret and his daughter of the heart, Cheryl Briggs; his sister, Joan Rochat; his grandchildren, Bryan, Nathan and Kurtis and his step-grandchildren, Patrick and Pam.
A visitation will be held on Monday, December 17th from 6 to 8 pm at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 18th at 10:00 am at the Mountain Ridge Bible Chapel, 763 Mountain Ave., Berkeley Heights 07922 followed immediately by the funeral repast in the fellowship hall at Mountain Ridge Bible Chapel. The interment will follow the repast at Fairview Cemetery, Westfield.
