Its been two years since you left us and there isn't a day that goes by that Fred and I don't think of you. We miss you and your sense of humor, your kind and caring personality and especially good times together. The UD Gang misses you and when we get together we speak of you and share fun, fond memories and raise a glass to you. The person that misses you most is your best friend, Fred. You were like a big brother to him and I know there are times he wishes he could call and talk to you, razz you about the Jets and meet you for lunch at Lambertville Station just like old times. We love you and miss you Bombano. Fred and Linda Koelle

I am deeply saddened to hear of the passing of my very, very good friend Ed. He was a close friend of mine since 1995. We met often at the Gladstone Tavern or in Long Valley where I live and enjoyed dinner and laughs. I will miss him very much. I had dinner with him in early December 2018 and just learned of this tragic news now. My thoughts and prayers go out to all his friends and family. If his son or daughter or a friend reads this, please contact me. -Ken kmusto@gmail.com

Linda and I met Ed at The University of Delaware when he was a freshman. We became good friends and were part of a larger group that had many good times together. Ed was always quick with a joke or wise crack. We spent many enjoyable hours hanging out and playing sports (Ed was always the fastest of our group). As the years passed we saw less of each other and it has been quite a few years since we were in contact. We are very sorry that Ed has passed, he was a good man. Linda and I extend our deepest sympathies to the Edelson family.

Dear Edelson Family ... I didn't know Ed, but passed by the house for some 20+ years on my way to work in Far Hills. I always admired the way he so diligently was working on his home and the care and pride he exuded when walking one of his beautiful shepherds. Although we never met in person, driving the same way to work for all these years, I suppose we were somewhat familiar, as he always had a warm smile and waved when ever I saw him out and about! I was so saddened to hear of your profound loss and I hope the days ahead bring about calm and a sense of peace for you family. God's Blessings Ed!

Edward’s family: I'm so sorry for your loss. I went through a similar situation and I was very helped by the hope that I found in the Bible in John 5: 28, which says, "Do not amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". I am sending you a link with more information on this hope.

We are missing our friend very much. Always willing to help, listen, or hug. From talking about classic cars to antique shopping, houses, dogs, life, and the forever and on-going school boy pranks that he and my husband shared. Thank you for the holiday "Happy ...." texts that you always remembered throughout the year, Ed. And the simple joy of Mueller's Bakery in Bay Head. You loved the Jersey Shore, and the friends who live here will always love and miss you. Trish and Rich

I worked for Ed as an accounting major back in 1991, then again in his Somerville office in 2016. We both lost our parent at the same time, and continued to stay in touch. We also both had our share of problem neighbors, and exchanged stories about this. I had not spoken to Ed in about 2 months, dialed his phone today, and the mailbox was full. I had a feeling something was not right, and am grief stricken to learn he passed away. Fly high my friend. You are missed already.

To Ed's family, I am so sorry for your loss. He was a wonderful man and I always enjoyed talking to him. I knew Ed through networking and had a lovely breakfast with him in downtown Basking Ridge. He spoke about his love of German Shepherds, which made him an even better man in my eyes. Ed was always ready to help with advise, support and a smile. May kind words and wonderful memories ease some of your pain during this time of loss.

Rest in peace my friend. I owe you so much and I will never forget to “say a prayer” that you came into my life in January 2017. I am so sorry that we didn’t get more rides in your vette with the top down and caught in the rain. Miss you already in the dark of the night for a favor in my driveway. I will keep on, carry on with your whispers of advice.
