Jeffry Jones

Obituary of Jeffry Jones

Jeffry Mark Jones, age 61, passed away peacefully on Sunday December 30, 2018 at Morristown Memorial Hospital. He was born on February 24, 1957 in New Brunswick, NJ, to George Edward “Pete” and Jocelyn (Welsh) Jones. Jeffry was raised in Plainfield, NJ, where he lived an active youth alongside family and friends.

He was a 1975 graduate of Gill St. Bernard’s School. A naturally personable communicator, Jeff worked in sales for over three decades, ranging from stock brokerage, commercial printing sales, and most recently, commercial real estate for NAI DiLeo-Bram. Jeff loved nothing more than his family, his greatest source of pride.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Audrey (nee Diana), his children, Christopher, Alexandra, Nicholas, and Zachary, his father, Pete, his siblings, Peter, David, Barbara, and their respective families. Truly, nothing could eclipse what he felt towards his family, with every vacation, gathering, and team coaching opportunity enjoyed to the fullest. In second place was golf, a passion he loved sharing with all who knew him. Jeff was an irreplaceable presence, and he will be missed and celebrated to the fullest extent.
