Obituary of Dorinda E. Bock

Dorinda "Da" Bock, age 56, passed away on Tuesday, February 19, 2019, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. Born in Plainfield, she has resided in North Plainfield her entire life. Dorinda was a graduate of North Plainfield High School and graduated with an Associate's Degree as a Dental Hygienist from Union County College. Dorinda started working in 1997, as a Dental Hygienist for Dr. Bill Ratz. She worked in his office for 22 years before becoming the office manager at Dental Associates of Basking Ridge for the past 6 years. She was a member of St. Luke's Church, North Plainfield. In her spare time she enjoyed vacationing in Ocean City, MD and was an avid sports fan and especially loved spending time with her family and friends. Predeceased by her parents Donald E. Bock, Sr. and Doris E. Bock and her brothers Denis and Donald Bock. Survived by her nieces Kaycee and Kelsey Bock and sister-in-law Sherry Bock. A visitation will be held on Sunday, February 24, 2019, from 2-6 p.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung, NJ. A service will be held on Monday, February 25, 2019, at 9 a.m. at the funeral home followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Luke's Church, North Plainfield.
