Obituary of Rosalie Marie Ciufo

Rosalie Marie (Krasucka) Ciufo, age 70, died on Monday, February 3, 2014, at Overlook Hospital in Summit. Born in Germany she had lived in Dunellen and South Plainfield before moving to Warren fifty years ago. Rosalie graduated from South Plainfield High School in 1961. Before retiring she had worked for Merck, in Whitehouse Station as a payroll accountant for over fifteen years. Prior to working at Merck, she had worked at various banks in NJ. She was a member of Our Lady of the Mount Church in Warren. In her spare time she enjoyed gardening and flowers. Her greatest joy was being with her family and cooking for them. Surviving is her loving husband of fifty-one years Antonio Ciufo; daughters Kathy Ciufo and Lisa Conte and her husband Louis; four grandchildren Edward, Antonio, Nicholas and Elizabeth Conte. Funeral services will be on Friday, February 7th at 9:30 a.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung, NJ followed by a Mass of Resurrection at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of the Mount Chapel in Warren. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Piscataway. Visitation will be on Thursday, February 6th from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Donations may be made in her name to: American Heart Association, P.O.
