Obituary of Ronald Gozdek

Ronald Gozdek, age 50, of North Plainfield, New Jersey, formerly of Garfield, passed away suddenly on March 24, 2019. He was born in Passaic, NJ to Ronald Gozdek and the late Mari Gozdek.  He was employed by Custom Protective Services, New York City, as an Armed Security Officer Operations Supervisor.

Ronnie, aka Diezel, was the best Dad to his daughter, Joelle, whom he adored more than anything else in this world.  Throughout his entire life he always made friends anywhere he went.  He loved his work as an armed security officer, riding his Harley, touring and providing security for some of the bands he loved, was a talented musician, and embraced life with a boisterous spirit; those who knew him heard him before they saw him.  He will be sorely missed by many.

He was predeceased by his beloved mother, Mari Gozdek, in March 2000.  Ronnie is survived by his daughter, Joelle Gozdek of North Plainfield, NJ, his father, Ronald Gozdek of North Port, FL, his sisters, Debi (Bebe) Barcus and husband Shawn of North Port, FL, Donna Woll and husband Rob of Hardwick, NJ, and his twin sister, Robyn Humbert and husband Craig of Sussex, NJ; nephews Rob Woll, Jesse Woll, CJ Humbert, nieces, Amber Humbert and Alyssa Humbert; and a very special friend, Chrissy Gozdek.  He also leaves behind a loved dog, Gizmo, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
