Obituary of Cornelia Mary Kinsella

Cornelia Mary Kinsella, born July 13, 1961entered Eternal Life, April 4, 2019, after fighting a fifteen year battle with cancer.

Cornelia was born to Richard and Eleanor Young in Morristown, NJ and was the third of five children. She is predeceased in life by her parents, Richard and Eleanor and her two sisters, Alicia Scott and Mary Teresa Young. She is survived by her daughters, Bailey and Olivia Kinsella and her sisters, Ann Kay and Eleanor Youngsmith and her nieces and nephews, Zachary Scott, Wade, and Danielle Kay and Jessica and Nicholas Youngsmith.

Cornelia was a life long resident of NJ growing up in the Morristown-Chester areas. She attended Immaculata High School (Sisters of Christian Charity) in Mendham, NJ. Cornelia attended Marymount College in New York and received her degree in Special Education from The College of New Jersey.

Cornelia was known by her family and friends for her fierce loyalty to her children, Bailey and Olivia. An avid animal lover, Cornelia was surrounded by cats, dogs, birds, and fish. A lifetime reader Cornelia found much contentment in her books. Among the many places, Cornelia visited she loved her travels to Russia, France, England and throughout the United States.

Cornelia was a very strong and independent woman with an incredible work ethic. She succeeded in getting her two daughters through high school and into college with her indomitable will and strength.

A Funeral Mass to celebrate Cornelia’s life will take place Monday, April 8, 2019, at 10 am at Church of the Blessed Sacrament 1890 Washington Valley Road Martinsville, New Jersey. Due to the Lenten season, no flowers permitted. Donations should be made to a charity of your choosing.
