Obituary of Marie Arcese

Marie Arcese, age 86, passed away on Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at her home in Warren. She was born in Jersey City and lived in North Bergen and West New York before moving to Warren in 1962.

Mrs. Arcese was a home maker. She enjoyed trips to the casinos, embroidery, travel and cruises. Her greatest joy was to be with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Paul Arcese, two daughters and two sons-in-law, 5 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, 1 brother and 1 sister.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2019 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung. Funeral services will begin on Friday at 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home followed by a 10:30 a.m. Mass of Resurrection at Our Lady of the Mount Church. Entombment will be at St. Mary’s Stony Hill Cemetery.
