Obituary of Lenore Lee Reiter

Lenore Lee Reiter Plainfield: Lenore Lee Reiter, age 90, passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at her home in Plainfield. She was born in Gary, Indiana and was raised in Missouri and Illinois and had resided in Plainfield for over 60 years. Prior to her retirement in the early 1990's, she worked at Twin City Pharmacy for over a decade. Mrs. Reiter was an expert seamstress and decorator who loved having parties for her family. She was an avid gardener and tended to her beloved koi ponds and fish. She and her husband enjoyed the gardens and the ponds in all seasons. She was a member of the Scotch Plains Baptist Church for over 50 years. Mrs. Reiter is predeceased by her parents, Guy Billeter and Margaret (Wilson) and her sister, Gynath Billeter. Surviving are her beloved husband of 69 years, Richard W. Reiter; her sons, Dr. Lawrence Reiter and his wife, Elizabeth Anne and Dr. Clifford Reiter and his wife, Marilyn; her daughters Linda Lyons and her husband, William, Marsha Pilachowski and her husband, David and Lisa Ousouljoglou and her husband, Kimon; 14 Grandchildren and 7 Great-Grandchildren with 2 more on the way. She is also survived by her half-brother, Ralph Billeter. Visitation will be on Sunday from 2 to 5 pm at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung. Funeral services are private.
