Obituary of Olga S. Simkin

Olga S. Simkin, age 98, passed away on Monday, August 12, 2019, at the Regency Jewish Heritage Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Somerset. Born and raised in New York City, she lived in North Plainfield before moving to Edison where she resided for over 20 years. Prior to retiring Olga was a sales associate at Lingerie by Susan a clothing store in Edison. In her spare time she enjoyed needle point, mahjong, the Warrenbrook Swimclub, and was a loyal Red Sox fan. Olga was a great cook and baker, she loved making cookies and sharing them with her grandchildren who she adored. Predeceased by her husband Robert S. Simkin. Survived by her daughter Sandra Rogers and her son Paul Simkin and his wife Bryna; 5 grandchildren Kristen, Randie, Robert, Emily and David; 5 great-grandchildren Danielle, Russell, Heather, Mallory and Olivia.
