Obituary of Arthur Joseph Kopacz
Arthur Joseph Kopacz “Sonny” passed away on Wednesday, September 4th, 2019 at the Somerset Valley Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Bridgewater, NJ. Arthur, was born and raised in Bayonne, NJ residing there until 1968 when he moved to Green Brook, NJ.
Arthur was the founder/owner of Creative Industries Inc., and managed the business with his partner, Bill Dougherty.
Arthur enjoyed watching his grandchildren play sports and was very involved in Senior Softball.
He is survived by the love of his life, his wife Agnes Kopacz; his son Art Kopacz and his wife Andrea, his daughter Audra Hillman and husband Ken, and his son Alan Kopacz and wife Alisa. He was the best PaPa ever to his seven grandchildren, Zachary, Russel, Allison, Amanda, A.J., Sarah and Jake. He is also survived by his sister Alma and her husband Joe, as well as many Nieces and Nephews.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, September 8, 2019 from 2:00 to 6:00 pm at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung, NJ. Funeral services will begin on Monday, September 9, 2019 at 9:00 at Higgins Home for Funerals, followed by a Mass of the Resurrection at 10:00 am at Saint John The Evangelist Church in Dunellen. Entombment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Piscataway, NJ.
