Carole and I are deeply saddened to learn of Walt’s passing. Both Carole and I worked at Muhlenberg Hospital. We were very close to Walt and his lovely family in the sixties up to 1980 when we relocated out of state. There were wonderful times at the hospital with Walt and the entire Engineering and Maintenance Department, staffed by highly skilled and expert craftsmen. We cherish the wonderful memories and stories about our time at Muhkenberg Hospital with Walt. We think of Walt often and even more so in his passing.
We extend our heartfelt condolences and prayers to Walt’s family.

The Senna family lived next door to the Dilts' for many, many years. Walt and Brenda were amazing neighbors...the kind you could just walk right in without knocking, sit down and chat awhile! We watched all the kids grow up and Walt taught the Senna boys so much from working at the hospital or fixing something around the house. To say he was a positive influence on them is an under statement.
We cannot say enough how sad we are to hear of his death and mourn both
Walt and Bonnie. Our love goes to Scott, Jimmy and Phoof and the rest of the Dilts' family.
With deepest sorrow and much love,
Kathy and Richard Senna

He was " Mr. Muhlenberg " because he knew all the ins and outs there was to know about the hospital. He keep things moving smoothly and in good working order. He was a major part of the Muhlenberg Family and he will be missed. He was a family man so I know he enjoyed all those grands and great'grands! Love and prayers,

Walter was the Muhlenberg rock who had an answer to address whatever problem you brought him. There were many times that I needed his direction and he gave it freely and with caring for the problem “we” had. He is what made Muhlenberg the family we all miss. Rest Walter.

I am so very sorry for your loss. I worked with Walt for over 20 years at Muhlenberg. He was a kind, funny man who wanted to help anyone and everyone. He tried to hide his kind soul with a gruff manner. Those of us who had worked with him for a long time knew we could always get a smile out of him and that he would always do all he could to help us. He seemed ageless in his appearance! He looked the same when I left MRMC in 1992 as when I first met him. My thoughts and prayers are with you as you bid farewell to your Dad, Grandfather, and Great Grandfather.
