Obituary of Robert B. Swank

Robert B. Swank Jr., age 68, passed away Wednesday, December 25, 2019 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Somerville, NJ. He was born in Shickshinny, PA and raised in Plainfield, NJ. He was a resident of North Plainfield since 1973. Robert worked as a machinist for the Cozzoli Machine Company for 41 years. He loved to cultivate his lawn and garden, and greatly enjoyed hunting as well. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Robert was a member of the parish family of St. Luke RC Church in North Plainfield, NJ. Robert is survived by his wife, Theresa Swank, his children Robyn Swank and Samantha Swank, and two grandchildren, Michael Trinajstic-Swank and Elijah Taylor-Swank. A visitation will be held on Sunday, December 29, 2019 from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd, Watchung, NJ. Funeral services will begin on Monday, December 30 at 9:15 a.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals followed by a 10:30 am Funeral Mass at St. Luke RC Church in North Plainfield. Cremation will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the American Heart Association.
