Obituary of Dom DiPaolo

Dom DiPaolo, age 69, passed away on Sunday January 19, 2020 surrounded by his loving family at Runnells Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare in Berkeley Heights. Born in Plainfield, Dom had grown up in South Plainfield and had resided in North Plainfield for most of his life. Dom enjoyed fishing and hunting but most of all he loved a good meal with his family and friends. He will be missed by all. Dom is survived by his devoted wife of 38 years Angela Simone DiPaolo; three children Jimmy DiPaolo and his wife Kerry, Danielle Dellipoali and her husband Michael and Michael DiPaolo; five grandchildren Matthew and Christopher DiPaolo and Olivia, Amelia and Sophia Dellipoali. He is also survived by three siblings Michael, Thomas and Daniel DiPaolo. A visitation will be held on Tuesday January 21, 2020 at the Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd. Watchung NJ from 4 to 8 pm. Funeral services will begin on Wednesday morning at 9 am at the funeral home followed by a 10 am funeral mass at St. Mary's Stony Hill Church in Watchung. The interment will follow immediately at Hillside Cemetery in Scotch Plains. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in his memory to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America 322 Eighth Avenue, 16th Floor New York, NY 10001
