Pat had an active career. She began working as a switchboard operator with her sisters then held a position with Thatcher Furnace in Garwood and Lockheed in Plainfield. Pat also loved working in New York City at McCall’s Magazine and in the advertising world.
True to her Italian heritage Pat loved cooking, gardening, entertaining family and friends. Her Thanksgiving gatherings were blessings to all whom had the good fortune to attend.
She resided in Garwood, Bound Brook and ultimately settled in Watchung. Pat married the love of her life, the late husband William A. Ferris. Together they built a happy life filled with 25 nieces and nephews, travelling the world, and planting deep roots in the community.
