Obituary of Yvonne L. Bennett

Yvonne L. Bennett, age 95, passed away Thursday, March 5, 2020 at Brandywine Nursing Home in Watchung, NJ. Yvonne was born and raised in London, England and resided Montreal, Canada. She moved to Fort Pearce, FL and lived there for most of her life before coming to reside in Basking Ridge, NJ for the past 12 years. Yvonne was a member of the Church of England. She greatly enjoyed animals and was very fond of riding horses. She followed sports and loved to travel, but most of all she loved being a mother to her children. Yvonne is predeceased by her husband, Captain Gordon W. Bennett in 1982. She is survived by her daughters: Gail O’Donnell and her husband Thomas, and Denise Minnerly and her husband Barry. She is also survived by five grandchildren: Erica, Christopher, Andrew, Sarah and Gillian, and three great-grandchildren: Sophie, Faina and Alexa. Cremation was private.
