Obituary of Trevor Lysaith

Trevor Roy Lysaith (aka John), 73, of Plainfield, NJ passed away on April 4th, 2020 in Edison, NJ due to failing health and complications from COVID-19. A private funeral service will be held at Higgins Funeral Home, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung, NJ on Friday, April 10th at 3 PM. Unfortunately, visitation will not be permissible but the service can be viewed via live stream. Higgins Funeral Home will be handling the arrangements. Trevor was born in St. James Parish, Jamaica, West Indies to Merinda Reid (née Lawrence) and Gerald Lysaith on April 15, 1947. He worked as a Facilities Supervisor for Continental Airlines for a number of years. He enjoyed auto mechanic work, singing, and had an electic taste in music which included his passion for playing the piano, guitar, and harmonica. He also enjoyed travel. Trevor is survived by his wife Verona Lysaith of Plainfield. He is survived by his mother Merinda Reid, his children Trevor Jr., Tashyan, Keith and Nicola, sisters & brothers, grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Trevor is also survived by some of his boyhood friends who were very dear to him. The family wishes to extend their sincere gratitude for all the prayers and support!
