Obituary of Theodore Cielecki

Theodore Cielecki, age 93 passed away on Tuesday April 7, 2020 at the Care One Health Center in Bound Brook. Theodore was born in Chicago and resided in Irvington for many years. After graduating from St. Peters Primary School, Theodore attended and graduated from the Don Bosco Preparatory High School in Ramsey NJ. He later went on to receive his BS from Seton Hall University in South Orange NJ. Theodore spent his entire career in law enforcement beginning with the Essex County Police Department retiring in 1981 and then continued to work for the sheriff’s office in an administration position retiring in 2010. Theodore loved traveling with late wife Jannette and his close friends. He is predeceased by his wife Jeanette Cielecki in 2011. Surviving are his two nephews Peter and Robert Saal. A funeral service will be livestreamed on Saturday April 11, 2020 at 10:30 am.
