Obituary of Leslie O. Steeber

Leslie Olivette Wolfe Steeber, 73, of Warren, NJ, passed away on April 21, 2020 in Wayne, NJ.

Leslie was born in Memphis, Tennessee, to Dorothy and Walter Wolfe on August 6, 1946. She moved to Michigan when she was young and then lived in Basking Ridge and Warren before moving to Watchung, New Jersey, where she attended Watchung Hills Regional High School and graduated in 1964. From there, she attended nursing school at Elizabeth General School of Nursing, where she obtained her nursing degree in 1967. She worked as a registered nurse for many hospitals and nursing homes throughout New Jersey before becoming a worker’s compensation case manager for United Review Services and PSE&G. She retired from this field in 2007. She enjoyed getting together with friends and family and spending as much time as possible with her granddaughter.

Leslie is survived by her Husband, Glenn of Warren, NJ; a daughter, Sherri Strauss, and her husband, Michael of Raritan, NJ; a son, Christopher Steeber and his wife Andrea, of Laguna Beach, California and her most favorite person in the world, a granddaughter, Jessica Ella Strauss.

She is preceded in death by her parents and many of her beloved Uncles and Aunt.
