I worked with Tom in an engineering firm before he went to the Port. We kept in touch maybe once a year. He is always in my memories as a good and kind person. I will always remember his smile and laugh. Today I had a thought of him and was sad I couldn’t reach out. God Bless him!

Thomas. L Wagner was my grandfather. He was one of if not the most loved man in my family. When I was done with school after my day sometimes he’d pick me up from school. He’d say “Hey Jakey how was your day!?” And he’d rub my back gently. I used to not like that sometimes but now that he’s gone I’d give anything to feel his love again. But now he’s in all of our hearts and we all love him.

Tom and I both had 28 year careers with "Mother PONY". We both did stints in TB&T and Aviation. We both loved Big East Basketball. I just LOVED the giant Big East poster he had in his cubicle!
We stayed in contact via email after we both retired in 2012, so Tom is one fellow retiree that I will surely miss. My condolences to the family.

it’s difficult to pick just one good memory to share of my Uncle Tom, I have so many. Family brunches, bbqs, birthdays, going with my grandma to church and hearing Uncle Tom singing in the choir. The way his face lit up when he talked about his children, or when he played with his grandkid. He was always so happy to see us and catch up with us. He really cared about people, especially his family. I’m going to miss him. Love you Uncle Tom.

I worked closely with Tom at the Port Authority for better than 20 years. We had so many lunchtime conversations. I will remember Tom fondly for his sharp wit and keen grasp of everything. A true gentleman in so many ways and one of the most intelligent engineers I have come across. Rest In Peace my friend.

So truly shocked and deeply sadden to hear of the death of Mr. Wagner.
He was such a true library friend. Weekly he would be in for his dvds (British shows seemed to be a favorite!) He loved loved his classical music cds.
Such sad, sad news. Our deepest sympathy to his wife and family.
Always he will be with you.May you have the comfort of memories and the gift of his laughter to carry you forward. And that smile! The smile to remain in your heart. Gone too soon.
with deep sympathy,
Sharon Franklin
