Rosa Inez Colon was one of the dearest, sweetest, most faithful souls it has ever been my privilege to know. She was a true Christian and missionary in every sense of the word. Sister Inez made countless trips to her native Dominican Republic and also to Haiti, and helped and blessed all that she could with each trip. She was a devoted and faithful member of the Market Street Church in Perth Amboy NJ, and volunteered constantly in the kitchen, activities, or whatever task was needed, great or small. I was forever in awe of her humility and dedication to Christ. She volunteered at prisons and soup kitchens, constantly gave out Gospel tracts and, shared Christ with every soul she encountered. She was a prayer warrior who won many souls to the Lord. I have so many beautiful memories of coming home and finding My Mom praying on the phone with Sister Inez. She is a Saint who blessed everyone she came into contact with and it was a privilege to have known her. She is in Glory now in the arms of Jesus. She leaves behind a great void, but we are comforted in knowing that one day we will see her again wearing a crown of gold. Her memory is forever engraved in hearts. God bless her forever.
