Our deepest sympathies to the whole family. John will be missed by us all. His warm charm and cool demeanor , his enthusiasm and persistence. If any one taught a man to fish it was him. Always caring and kind while stern and thoughtful. Not one detail too small or idea too large, his soul will always live on within those who new him. For someone who touched so many lives he will forever be a pillar of the many communities he served and an example to us all. I will always cherish the time I was able to spend with him as there was always a lesson to be shared, a theory to be contemplated, and a principle to be applied. Always something new and unexpected, but his love for his family was first, something soo obvious when any meeting could be interrupted by a grandchild's "Papou" and big hugs. To know John was to be held to a higher standard and by this he made us all feel like family. Words can only go so far to express our emotions but our love goes to you all.
