Obituary of Cynthia Mintz

Cynthia Mintz, age 95, passed away on Friday, May 29, 2020 at the Regency Jewish Heritage Nursing & Rehabilitation in Somerset. Born and raised in Jersey City, she had lived in South Plainfield for many years before moving to Cranford most recently. Cynthia was a past president of Temple Beth Israel and was part of the Jewish Federation. In her free time, she enjoyed playing bridge and tennis. Cynthia was a homemaker who loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her husband Milton Mintz in 1993. Survived by her children Howard Mintz and his wife Bernetta and Diane Mintz; grandchildren Jason and his wife Jacqueline Mintz and Brian Mintz; great-grandchildren Allyson and Aaron Mintz and her brother Leonard Sandhaus. A graveside service was held privately at Beth Israel Cemetery, Woodbridge.
