Obituary of Patrick Palombi

Patrick Palombi age 64, of Watchung, NJ passed away peacefully on Friday, June 5, 2020. His wife, Kristina, was by his side in their home. Patrick is survived by his wife, Kristina (nee Sundin) of Allentown, PA, daughters Gianna, Chiara and Sophia of Manasquan, NJ and Katie Burgoon of Watchung, NJ; brother Steve and his wife Marie of Port Reading, NJ; brother Michael, and his wife Heidi of Manchester, NJ; sister Colleen Bednarchik and her husband Greg of Audubon, NJ. He is preceded in death by parents Louis and Jacqueline (nee Heulitt) and his brother Louis. Patrick worked for many years at Lockheed Martin Corporation as a business analyst and was well loved by his “work family” who appreciated his humor and intelligence. He is also survived by countless aunt, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews, who will also miss him dearly. Patrick was a devoted father to his daughters, loving partner to his wife, and wanted to be remembered for “swinging for the fences” and fighting his battle with cancer to the bitter end. God saw you getting tired, A cure was not to be. So he put His arms around him And whispered,” Come with Me.” With tearful eyes, we watched him suffer. And saw him fade away. Although we loved him dearly, We could not make him stay. A golden heart stopped beating. Hard working hands to rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us He only takes the best. A private memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 9th, 2020 at 4:00 pm. The service will be available by live stream at https://www.hdezwebcast.com/show/patrick-palombi. Patrick’s daughter Chiara will be swimming for Swim Across America again this year in honor of her father.
