Obituary of Patricia Ann Lomonico
Patricia Ann Lomonico, affectionately known as Pat or Patty, at the age of 74 with an astounding sense of peace and an abundance of love in her heart, passed away on Wednesday July 1, 2020 with her daughter by her side.
Born in Massachusetts, Patty grew up in Perth Amboy, New Jersey yet lovingly called Warren her home for well over 40 years.
Patty was an old soul and an avid collector of many “vintage treasures”. She was able to find the sentimental value in almost anything but especially loved Christmas and/or Patriotic trinkets. Besides collecting, Patty simply enjoyed spending time in her gazebo, vacationing along the sandy beaches of Sanibel Island, the soft scent of Lily of the Valley and what sunflowers represent.
Most of all Patty loved spending time with her family especially her three amazing grandchildren… They were her World.
She will be forever remembered by many for her handwritten cards adorned with stickers & loads of confetti and how she beautifully decorated her home for all the Holiday’s and Seasons.
Pat is survived by her daughter, Melissa A. Schlow and her husband Jay, her son Christopher B. Lomonico and her three wonderful grandchildren Aiden J. Lomonico, Jasmine R. Lomonico and Taylor A. Schlow. She is also survived by three sisters Arlene McNey, Eve Petoh, Leona Gauthier and will be lovingly missed by many nieces and nephews.
The family will privately celebrate Patty’s life in Sanibel Island, Florida. However, they encourage family and friends to light a candle in memory of their Mom at either the Lady of the Mount Chapel in Warren or simply at home, on their own time.
