Obituary of Wanita Bearlepp

Wanita Wanda Bearlepp (nee Hanks), 88 years old, passed on July 9th, 2020, with her family by her side. Wanita was born September 9th, 1931 in Fulton County, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of the late Watson and Anna Hanks. Wanita will be remembered for her kind heart. She showed everyone how to be a loving person who everyone admired. She loved interacting with the people at the jobs she worked. She was a member of the women’s American Legion Auxiliary. She loved to sew, and would make her daughters Easter dressed for many years. She loved reading, going to bingo, spending time with her husband, daughters, granddaughters, grandsons, and great-granddaughters. She will be forever missed by her family. She is survived by her husband of 63 years Gustave, daughters Polly (Dave) Stovel, Wanda (Edward) Michniewicz, Marietta (Scott) Dealaman; grandchildren, Melissa (Matt) Kugel, Robert Michniewicz, Amie (Brian Lucia) Michniewicz, Amanda (Scott) Trinka, Matt (Tiffany) Dealaman; great-grandchildren, Aeryn, Rylee, Elise, and Allasandra. Her sisters Catherine, Martha, Neada, and Kate her wonderful caregiver. Wanita was preceded in death by her parents, 6 brothers, and 3 sisters. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 15, 2020, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd, Watchung, NJ. A Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 pm on Wednesday, July 15 2020 at the Funeral Home, followed by a private cremation.
