Obituary of Frank Miller

Francis “Frank” A. Miller, 77, of North Plainfield, New Jersey, passed away peacefully at home on August 13, 2020. Born in Jersey City, New Jersey, Frank proudly served in the U.S. Navy from 1962-1966. Frank was a retired truck driver, receiving many awards for safety. Frank loved to spend time in Lavallette, and loved fishing, cooking gourmet meals, and riding his Harley. Frank was a former member of the Hunterdon County Harley Owners Group and the Ortley Beach Moose Lodge. Frank is survived by his wife, Jean, the love of his life, and his step-daughter, Brenda Barber. Frank is also survived by his two sisters, Jeanine Lester (Lee) and Donna Miller as well as nieces, Linda Hann (Angel) and her son Johnathan, and Sharon Stickley (Kurt), and her children, Katherine and Eric, and many other nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. In addition, Frank is survived by children from a prior marriage, Kathleen, Maureen, Justin and Matthew and several grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Frank was predeceased by his parents, Francis and Alice Miller, his sister, Cecelia, and his brother, John. There will be no visitation. A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, August 18, 2020, 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Church, 41 Manning Avenue, North Plainfield, New Jersey. Memorial donations may be made in Frank’s name to the Plainfield Humane Society or to a charity of your choice.
