Obituary of Irene A. Presuto

Irene Presuto, age 89, passed peacefully away this Tuesday, September 9, 2020 at home in the Chelsea of Warren, NJ. Irene was born in Sayerville, NJ, to her parents John and Sofie Gawron. She resided in Piscatawy, NJ, North Plainfield, NJ, and Long Valley, NJ before finally coming to reside at Chelsea in Warren. Irene attended Rutgers University Douglas College. She worked at Squib Lab testing before cofounding Beauty Craft in Green Brook with her husband Rocco in 1973. Irene was a parishioner of Our Lady of Lourdes in Whitehouse Station, NJ. As a younger woman, Irene enjoyed reading, traveling, and dining out with friends and family. As her family grew she focused on spending time with her grandchildren, who she loved very much. Irene is predeceased by her husband Rocco and her daughter Marianne Roth. She is survived by her children, Dave Presuto and wife Lorrinda, Greg Presuto and wife Anna; her grandchildren, Jessica Lynch and husband Ryan, Danielle Presuto, Abigal Roth, Hudson Roth, Steven Roth, Joshua Presuto, Daniel Presuto, and Sofia Presuto, and one great-grandchild, Evan Lynch. Due to COVID-19, there will be no public visitation at the funeral home. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2020, at 12:00 am at Blessed Sacrament Church in Martinsville, NJ. Burial is private.
