Obituary of Angelo Dellisante
Judy and Angelo Dellisante had a long and loving marriage. They both passed quietly at their home in Avenel, N.J. on September 8th. Arrangements are being handled by Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung, NJ. There will be a very small family burial on Friday, September 18th at the Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington, N.J.
Judy, 75 and Angelo, 92 enjoyed their family, friends and work. Anyone who knew them came away the better for it as they both had the rare ability to give love freely and unconditionally. They are survived by extended family, friends and colleagues.
Judy and Angelo were both born and raised in Newark and had been residents of Avenel for many years. Judy was an Account Executive at American Industrial Supply Corp. in Perth Amboy, N.J., where she was appreciated for her diligence, loyalty and friendship.
Before he retired, Angelo worked at the Port of Newark which makes him an “essential worker” from way back. He too was appreciated for his hard work and ready smile. He also served his country and was a member of the local VFW.
Judy and Angelo enjoyed family celebrations, dining out, trips to Atlantic City, and the social life at the VFW Hall, but nothing compared to the devotion and care that they showed to each other. In many ways
they were a model husband and wife which God has called home together, so that they may be together forever.
