Obituary of Jeffrey Cozzetto

Jeffrey P. Cozzetto, age 62, passed away on Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at his home in Somerville, NJ. Jeffrey was born in Plainfield, raised in North Plainfield, and has resided in Somerville since 2000. He was a graduate of North Plainfield High School and the College of New Jersey, School of Business, where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance. He was self-employed and worked as a Financial Analyst. Jeffrey was a member of St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church in Plainfield. He also volunteered at Muhlenberg Medical Center in Plainfield and was an avid collector of sport memorabilia. He was a garden enthusiast, an avid reader, and he was also a vintage movie and television buff. As a child, Jeffrey also enjoyed playing the piano. He is predeceased by his parents, Frank and Ida (Lauria) Cozzetto. He is also predeceased by his cousin, John Malone, his aunts, Helen Lauria and Florence Malone, and his uncle, Angelo Lauria. Jeffrey is survived by his loving brother, F. Robert Cozzetto. He will also be remembered as a loving friend and caregiver of Annmarie Bickram. A funeral service will be held on October 15, 2020 at 12:00 pm at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung, NJ. Interment will follow at Bound Brook Cemetery, Bound Brook, NJ.
