Eric and l graduated from the same secondary school in Hong Kong, we met again in our thirty-fifth reminiscent reunion in 2014. We started to share more of our perspective since last year. Eric is passionate, warmhearted and friendly person and we shared lots of our ideas on different issues. I am very sad to learn he has left us and I'll very miss him. I hope his family members will recover from the pain of their loss very soon. I'll keep them in my prayers.

My sincere condolences go out to the Cheng Family.
I have had the pleasure of working with my friend Eric for over 10 years while at Lucent. Out of the hundreds of photos that Eric took of our work group events, I could only find 1 photo where Eric was actually in front of the camera.
He will be greatly missed, but I know that he is in a much better place now, and I will see him again in heaven one day. May God Bless you Cheng Family. We will keep you in our Prayers. Allow God to hold you up during this difficult time.

Uncle Eric was always a figure of fun and joy during my childhood. He was always patient with us children, and loved teaching us new skills and scientific facts. I remember long weekends spent at his home marveling over the gadgets he brought home from Hong Kong. His intelligence and curiosity inspired me: Uncle Eric was always open to learning new things and new ideas. He never lost that spark of inquisitiveness that gave him such a brilliant mind.
Uncle Eric always put others first, from being the one to take photographs at gatherings to ensure others would always have memories, to ensuring that he was always a gracious and generous host. His generosity of spirit, kindness and grace shall be remembered and missed.
My deepest condolences to Tammy, Ricson and Sunny. i am thankful that Uncle Eric had your unwavering love and support.

Uncle Eric,
You were always a fixture of my childhood.
I remember fondly the times we came over to your house for dinner. Your hospitality was second to none.
It was always an inspiration how dedicated you were to your hobbies. It made me want to put in effort into my hobbies as well. Those fishtanks were breathtaking whenever we went over to your house.
Thank you Uncle Eric. Thank you for your hospitality, thank you for the joy you gave to people, thank you for the love you shared to everyone.

Uncle Eric, you are deeply missed and remembered by many.
We met over 15 years ago; you watched me grow up and helped shape the adult I am today. Throughout my childhood- your vibrancy and enthusiasm always stood out. You were passionate and dedicated in your many pursuits (RC planes, photography, aquarium building, cooking!) and never lost that child-like zeal for new experiences. Looking up to you as a kid, I was inspired knowing that adults like you existed! I'll never forget you helping me build a tree house, or teaching me how to use a DSLR.
These photos mark memories of you sharing your passions with younger generations. It was challenging to find photos of you as you were often behind the camera, committed to documenting memories for everyone else. A photographer like yourself takes an inherently selfless role.
I remember you took great pride in cooking incredible food and sharing it with people you loved. Everyone looked forward to the dinner parties you hosted. You've always had a knack for bringing people together. You were kind, charismatic, and funny! It's no wonder you were a center of social circles- people naturally gravitated towards you.
I'm grateful that my family and I had the chance to know you. We were some of the many lives you've touched. Over the years, we've created memories that will persist in all of us.
My deepest condolences to Tammy, Ricson, and Sunny.

Eric, I still remember so well one night in November 2015, you and Tammy came to our Friday night fellowship meeting. It feels like yesterday.
You are very special to me, not only we had a similar battle to face at that time , we both were looking forward to have a change to our lives. You did it , Eric.
I’m sure you had inspired a lot of us by your Faith , your Positive Altitude, your Kindness, your Generosity, your Honesty, your Hardworking, your Persistence and your Knowledges.
My impression with Eric is:
You always smile, always acceptance, always make sure things are in the right track, always remind me to take good care of my health, always remember lot of our birthdays, always humble and helpful to others. Even you are very smart but you always on a Learning Mode with your curiosity. Your positive attitude and the way you seek for Bible Knowledge gave me a lots of encouragement. I saw the change and the joy you both have on your faces when you were doing Usher at church. I always wanted to tell you and Tammy look so very cute and sweet when both handing out the flyers and greeting to us.
Eric, Thanks again For u and Tammy had given me one of your beautiful plant few weeks ago. Look ! It is standing up nice and strong. Those shiny leaves , remind me of your life had filling up with courage, happiness and brightness.
Eric, Thank you for invited my family to your home for the amazing dinner. I never know you were such a good cook. We all had a great time.
Eric, You are missed. You are remembered. Beautiful Memories silently kept of one that we loved and never forget. Our hearts still aches with sadness and tears. Our mind stills hold the wonderful memories. The most important is Our faith lets us know we will meet again.

不經不覺幾十年朋友，不知不覺你由好姊妹的老公升level變成好朋友，感恩能認識你這樣的大好人。從你的日常點滴巳感受到你関愛身邊所有人。
孝順的你幾十年來從不間斷的回來香港探望母親；所以雖然大家身處這麼遠；但還是那麼近就可以相聚。愛妻號的你返到香港會跑去買藥材補品返去比Tammy補身。但最感動的是聽到你不捨得Ricson去大學寄宿到想哭；而最難忘的是你講到Sunny的跳脫聰明那種開心表情。最難得是你對朋友也義不容辭有需要就儘力幫忙。

還記得3月份您來電，幇助朋友詢問口罩事情。您獨特的聲音，仍然歷歷在目。
今天收到您的消息，腦海中不斷重複浮現以往相聚的情景！心裡十分十分難過...亦無言。究竟天堂有多遠？我相信一定會有與您在天堂相遇的一天！到時候，您一定要帶我去飲番杯「港式奶茶」同「飯聚」呀！
