Julian Ball

Obituary of Julian Stephen Ball

OBITUARY Julian Stephen Ball sprang to life in Watchung, New Jersey in February 2020. The son of Joanne and Stephen Ball, Julian stole his parents' hearts from the start. After years of sadness on the path to parenthood, Julian emerged as a true miracle and blessing from God. He was conceived naturally. As such, on a bright March afternoon, when a pregnancy test revealed Julian's presence, the pain of failed infertility treatments faded away. God's blessing prevailed. Julian declared his arrival as only a miracle can–boldly and conspicuously. His mom's memorable first trimester heralded the growing boy inside her. Julian loved leisurely, peaceful walks around Watchung Lake. Nothing made him happier than being with his mom to enjoy the afternoon sunshine, fresh air, comforting climbs, and deep descents of the hilly landscape. In the evenings, Julian spent countless hours blissfully kicking away as his dad read to him, talked to him, and expressed his love. Julian also spread joy to many others around him – especially his grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Their prayers, love, and support enveloped Julian from the moment his parents excitedly announced his existence; fittingly, on Mother's Day. In a year of tremendous turmoil and despair, Julian embodied profound peace and hope. The product of countless prayers, he touched hearts before even having a heart of his own. And following eight months of cherished life, God called him home. On October 12, 2020, Julian's beautiful body was delivered at Mt. Sinai Hospital in New York City. His soul went off to rest in Heaven, free from the pains and difficulties of our world. Julian is survived by his parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and the village of loving people who celebrated the gift of his miraculous life. Although his time on earth was short, Julian was deeply loved for all of it. He brought joy, faith, and light to a world that needed it desperately. Julian's parents miss their son dearly. He will always be in their hearts. Never forgotten. Forever loved. As we lay him to rest, we thank God for the gift that Julian Stephen and his memory are to us. Rest in peace, our precious baby boy. We love you.
