Back in the heyday of 8-track cassettes, I called on Jack and Ed at Roller Corp. I represented Dow Corning. Our silicone was on I thousands of their rollers. Jack was a class act and a wonderfully friendly and engaging person. I miss visiting with Jack and his father. Both made a point to treat salesmen as a valuable asset in their business. I remember trips to Edgewood Arsenal with Ed and Jack because the non-business hilight was being able to drive Ed,s Cadillac. My wife and I lived in Pitman, NJ. I would drive to the NJ Turnpike to meet them. After parking my car I would approach their car. Ed would roll down his window and ask me if I would like to drive his car. He didn’t need to ask twice. Jack and Ed were my favorite customers, bar none. Best wishes Jack. You were wonderful. And best to his family. John Carey

We at Watchung Hills Physical therapy are saddened to hear about Jack. He was a regular at our office. First, as a patient and then for personal training. For about 12 years, he was here twice a week. He always had a smile on his face and a hearty laugh to go with it. Our condolences to Jane and the rest of his family.

Jack was the mainstay of our fabled Round Table Lunch Group which has met every day for lunch for many years. No one could have a better friend than Jack Monett. He was kind and generous in every way. He was constantly giving each of us books to learn from and enjoy on health, history and economics, he and Jane invited us to wonderful dinners, and he imparted his wisdom borne of faith and experience. His love for Jane and their family was always obvious as was his love for the Church and the Christian faith. Jack's life was so well lived and he will be so very missed! Rest in Peace, Jack.

Uncle Jack
Having known you all my life our relationship took on several dimensions: "born to be wild Uncle" with your Triumph motorcycle and V8 powered Sunbeam Tiger, career counselor Uncle as I took up my budding interest in business, and most importantly Father when my parent's marriage failed. While there is a big void in my life now I know you are in a better place with an end to your suffering.
I was so happy and honored to have been a part of your communion ceremony when you joined the Catholic Church. With your beloved Jane there it was something I will never forget. Your faith was such a source of strength for you both. Thanks for sharing that crucial transition in your life with me.
God bless you,
Lou Hess

Uncle Jack,
You will surely be missed by us and countless others as well. It was always a pleasure to see and talk with you. Your knowledge and ability to converse on almost any subject and your sense of humor made our time together pleasantly unforgettable. You were an angel walking the earth, as so many knew, and we now know that you walk with the Lord !
God Bless You !
Rest in Peace Uncle Jack !

I have nothing but fond memories of Jack, and Jane too. We were neighbors for 38 years, and he saw my kids grow up and attended family gatherings. It was always enjoyable talking about political and financial issues with him, and especially his dietary solutions for all diseases. He will always be in my memories and prayers. I will miss frequent dinners after the 5PM Mass on Saturdays. Even my dog Daisy will miss seeing him at the mailbox on most days. I am so glad he converted to Catholicism; he's in a better place now.
