Obituary of Chester Raymond Wysocki

Chester Raymond Wysocki, age 69, passed away on Sunday, April 13, 2014 at Somerset Medical Center in Somerville. He was born and raised in Newark and has resided in North Plainfield since 1978. Chester was an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a mechanic for the Lyons VA Hospital in Basking Ridge. He was very handy and enjoyed fixing things. Chester enjoyed doing puzzles, gardening, and fishing. Surviving are his beloved wife, Wanda Wysocki; his daughter, Jennie Kuhns and her husband, Jason; his son, Michael and his wife, Dolores, and his three grandchildren, Faith, Nicholas and Olivia. A memorial gathering will be held on Thursday, April 17, 2014 from 4-7 p.m. at Higgins Home For Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung followed by words of comfort from family and friends at 7 p.m. Cremation was private. In lieu of flowers, friends are asked to make a donation to the American Heart Association in Chester's memory.
