On Thursday, November 26, 2020, Carol Anne Nogan, 73, came to rest with the Lord after a brief but difficult battle with lung cancer. Carol was born on November 30, 1946, to Josephine and Charles Woods of Roselle Park. She graduated from Roselle Park High School in 1964. On February 23, 1973, she married Glenn Nogan and raised two children Patrick and Cheryl. She worked for Rutgers University for over two decades, friends from the university were still prominent in her life after retirement.
Carol was generous with her home, during Super Storm Sandy her house was one of the few in the state with power. She opened her doors to family and friends; her house was a haven for anyone in need. She was a devoted Christian and lived her faith.
Carol A. Nogan is preceded in death by her father Charles, her mother Josephine, and her husband Glenn. She is survived by her children Patrick Nogan (Claudia Nogan) and Cheryl Nogan Rheinberger (Arno Rheinberger), her grandchildren: Olivia Nogan, Matthew and Allison Rheinberger; her siblings Charles Woods, Barbra (Woods) Malpica, Judith (Woods) Lugo, and their children and grandchildren, plus dozens of cousins.
