Obituary of Jerold A. Bressman

Jerold A. Bressman, 92 years old, born in Newark, NJ, passed away on December 31, 2020. He was loved by his family, his wife Minnetta née Sobel, his son Jonathan, his daughter in law Beth née Cohen, and especially his granddaughters, Lauren and Bailey, his extended family and friends. Jerry received his undergraduate degree from Rutgers University in New Brunswick in 1950. He served in the US Army from 1951-53 during the Korean War; and then he graduated as salutatorian from Rutgers Law School in Newark in 1959. Jerry was a practicing attorney for 61 years. An avid golfer, he was a member of Cedar Hill Country Club for 54 years. Jerry will be deeply missed by his family and those who had the good fortune to have known him. A private funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, January 6, 2020 at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung, NJ.
